Situated in the hilly lake area of Southeastern Wisconsin, Winnebago is thirty miles long and ten miles wide.  It's the largest lake entirely within the state and is one of the more heavily fished.  Winnebago is also very popular with boaters, sailors, and water skiers.  This view is from Fond du Lac on the southern shore.

Located on the Rhine, Ober-Ingelheim was an important fortress in the middle ages.  The beautiful Burgkirche (Castle Church) is just inside the defensive walls of the city.  Vineyards abound in this area.

This tiny town is buried deep within a remote setting in the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains.  Coffee growers and jewelry makers welcome one's visit.  Although it isn't far from Puerto Vallarta, it's still a world away from the usual tourist haunts.

Tain-l'Hermitage is a town of just over 5,700 inhabitants across the river from Tournon-sur-Rhône.  Situated on the banks of the picturesque Rhône River between Lyon and Avignon, it is known for its vineyards and chocolates.

This village between Paris and Dijon, reminded the artist of a painting by Camille Pissarro. Burgundy is a world famous wine growing region and Dijon is home to the original mustard seed.

This thrilling twelve-mile railway is a branch of the Bergen-Oslo Line connecting Myrdal and Flåm.  Deep within the fiords of Norway, the line's elevation difference is a staggering 2,831 feet.  It has ten stations, twenty tunnels, and one bridge.  Because of its steep gradient and picturesque nature, the Flåm Line is now almost exclusively a tourist service and has become the third most visited attraction in Norway.
